This symbol is a representation of SOMA and an important element in creating the internal and external image of the museum. It is designed through the separation and re-combination of ‘circle’, the basic element of sculpture. Continuously flowing organic combination means consistency and interactivity of “circle”.
Word Mark
Word Mark is a representation of SOMA and the core element of its MI system. Thus, in recognizing this as a key element that creates the internal and external image of SOMA, it is strongly required to use the word mark precisely according to each regulation specified in this manual. Each shape of the word characters in the word mark being proportionally adjusted, the shape, thickness, proportion or spacing of the word is not to be randomly modified. Creation of word mark follows the rule of enlarging and reducing the size after photoengraving the material and if designed in large size, the grid system applies.
