The SOMA Art Academy proudly features top instructors and an experimental, academic curriculum. At the academy, students not only learn how to draw, but also gain a wide understanding of culture and sharpen their artistic sensitivities. Students learn the difference between drawing by looking and drawing by sensing, and the difference between expressing something through knowledge and expressing something through feelings.

Regular Program
SOMA runs regular programs for adults and children (Adult and Children Academies). The Adult Academy Foundation is a program that offers a university curriculum to general adult learners through an MOU with the Korea National University of Arts. The Children’s Academy runs a drawing class and a sculpture class. Through both of these programs, students are able to enjoy creative activities based on the rich educational contents of SOMA, such as the SOMA Drawing Center and the Seoul Olympic Sculpture Park.
